Who is a Life coach?

A life coach encourages and counsels clients on a range of professional and personal goals. Their theme could range from issues like mood issues, concentration issues, enhancing productivity, work-life balance, relationship issues and health goals.

How are Coaching and Counselling different?

Coaching helps you set and achieve goals while counselling helps you recognise and solve your problems in life. The former is more focused on the future, while the latter chooses to “fix” the past and present. Coaches are trained in helping clients move forward in life. Psychiatrists and counsellors are trained in human psychology, human development, mental health and can deal with clinical as well as non-clinical conditions.

How does Life coaching work?

As a life coach my first step is to try and understand what your challenges and goals are. A big part relies on addressing the thinking patterns you have developed over time which make you feel stuck or where you lose power. Beliefs like “I can’t”, “I should”, “They must” or “How can I”. Our coaching conversations will be all about helping you see what you may have blindsided yourself to and have been ignoring. The ultimate win is when you will start seeing yourself through a (my) Coach’s eyes and begin to work on what is really limiting and disempowering you.

Am I expected to do anything during the process?

Start by showing up consistently. Try and ensure to the use of the resources that we will together develop. Between sessions I will be giving out assignments and checking in on you via various links. You are expected to be committed to doing those assignments.

I feel shy and judged easily. How can I trust you? I have difficulty opening up to others.

We could start by working on this as a goal. After all our goals revolve around your weaknesses, strengths and agendas. It is natural to feel shy and reserved in the beginning. I assure you its my responsibility to try to make you feel at ease. If you still don’t feel at ease with me I would be certainly happy to refer you to one of my other esteemed colleagues from my fraternity.

How frequent are the sessions? How often do we speak?

Coaching sessions are conducted once in 7-10 days telephonically. My coaching package has 6 sessions of 45 minutes duration; these are spread out over 10-12 weeks (approx. 3 months).

What are the modes of coaching?

All coaching sessions are done ON THE PHONE. That means you can connect with us from the comfort of your home or at work irrespective of where you are in the world.

What are your payment terms and conditions?


Payment is to be made 100% in advance. This is a standard payment norm in the coaching industry globally. It works best for the coach and the client since the advance payment naturally binds you (the client) into the coaching engagement till the end. It also brings in more commitment and seriousness into the coaching process making you more focused on this as a priority. We have a secure, customised payment gateway to accept payment through credit cards, debit cards, mobile wallets, UPI and net-banking.
